| Lead-free brass | — | C6801 | Bismuth-bearing, JIS H3250, for low-lead and lead-free requirements. Lead-free stock runs on a separate flow from leaded brass, to prevent cross-contamination. Mill certificate with every lot. |

Measured lead content
- C3604 brass Pb 2.65 % Mill certificate of a lot machined.
- C6801 lead-free brass Pb 0.0053 % Mill certificate of a lot machined.
- US drinking-water limit 0.25 % Weighted average of wetted surfaces, Safe Drinking Water Act.
Figures are from the mill certificates of lots machined, not a product certification. NSF/ANSI 372 listing, where a project requires it, is arranged by the buyer.
Inspection and finishing
- Measurement
- Vision measuring system. Dimensions are checked against the drawing, and the results are reported.
- First article
- First-article inspection report with every lot. The first piece is measured and reported before the lot runs.
- Mill certificate
- With every brass lot. For aluminum and steel, certificate availability is confirmed at quotation, before you place the order.
- Finishing
- Plating, anodizing, secondary machining and assembly — handled in one order.
